Déols Cemetery - 1953-65

|
September 2008 JP visited the cemetery in Déols which now has an area for children who were dependents of people who worked at La Martinerie and/or Déols and who passed away from 1953-65. At one time, the graves were randomly located, but now the cemetery is being renovated and the little graves have been moved to a very small area (about 5'x6') marked by only the markers as shown below. Last names are not listed except for one. There are only about eleven markers. I did not have time to visit wherever the records might be kept for the City of Déols, but perhaps on my next visit, I will do that. This plaque says American Infants, but probably not. Probably NATO children.
